My Dad, My Mum and Me ❤️ My Mum is about 19 in this picture, I am asleep and apparently I slept loads as a baby which carried on well into adulthood. Until I had my own kids! I found out when I was about 9 that my Dad wasn't really my Dad and I was heartbroken. I think he was too because he didn't want me to know really. I had his surname but changed it after I found out. I didn't realise it would upset him so much and regret that. My Dad, the one that I call my Dad took me on as his own and I admire him greatly for that. He also passed away in 2005 when he was 50 years old. I was 24, my sister 22 and my brother 20. I don't normally talk about this stuff let alone post about it but today I want to mention for all those Fathers out there that may not be biologically Fathers but take on that responsibility and for those that are no longer with us xxx #fathersday #loss #mydad #neverforgotten
